Scanning with XSane

I have been trying out a bit of scanning using a combination of GIMP, XSane and my Canon Lide60 Scanner.
I have got quite a few pictures from my recent trip to Berlin.   As they were taken with a Holga it means that they need scanning which is where XSane comes in handy.

Sending an Image from UFRaw to Gimp

This has been annoying me as it did not seem to work at first.
The little “Send Image to Gimp” button just would not work.
The Options button brought up this dialogue with “gimp-remote”…..

In order for this to work I had to remove the “-remote” bit to give this:

Now the “send to gimp” button seems to work.
