WordPress Permalinks

I’m trying to work out what is the best permalink structure to use for my site.

I thought about using the default WordPress structure but it seems a bit basic with just the post id, but it is supposed to be good for speed & efficiency.

I have been running a wordpress.COM blog for a while and had been using the /yyyy/mm/dd/post_title format which seems to have a certain logic to it, so I think I will stick with this permalink structure.

Permalinks are not something you want to change too often as it basically cuts off all your inbound links to posts, so best to choose a structure and stick with it.
